In the second volume of "Operation Liberate Men," we become more familiar with the main character Sooha's personality and her life before the fateful day when she was mysteriously abducted to Para. I love reading stories where the lead female is a strong character. Sooha is an ordinary girl who may not be the most popular and is a bit naive, but she faces problems head on and has no tolerance whatsoever for injustice. And what gets her into most of her troubles is the fact that she can't let unjust acts go unpunished. Our world truly needs more people like Sooha. The world of Para becomes even more elaborate and more familiar from the first volume. The author devlops myths, customs, and lingo that are original to her creation--sometimes to the point of overcomplicating the plot--which adds uniqueness and dimension to this unfamiliar fantasy world. There is also a possible romantic development between the main character and another, although I won't tell who it is. I'll let you find out for yourself for when you pick up this volume. A magical tale with strange gender benders and secret well-placed spies is bound to be entertaining and something you won't regret giving the time of day to read.
