I loved this book. The heroine was intelligent and competent; and solved her problems herself, thus earning the hero's admiration. She also had a perfectly nice but boring suitor that was actually a reasonable alternative to the hero. I really liked the heroine a lot, the hero was rather bland. A nice change from the feather-headed idiots who insist on falling for the wrong man and/or get themselves into trouble they require rescuing from.
