A Changes Romance #10: On My Own

Jamie is a junior in high school and has two best friends, Mariah and Kelly. At the beginning of the school year Jamie has a boyfriend of her dreams, at least she thought she did. He was popular, funny, nice, and good-looking. When he invites her to his beach party for a weekend and her parents won't let her go, he goes instead and cheats on her. She is so devastated, that her friends and her decide to make a vow to never have a guy in their life until they graduate high school. They decide to worry just about themselves, and not to worry about always trying to impress other guys. When Jamie goes to work in Carmel as a nanny for a 6 year old brat, she never would of thought to really meet the boy of her dreams. Jamie knows that Griffin is sensitive and kind, and would never cheat on her like Tom did. She's sure that he loves her as much as she loves him. Griffin even stays the whole summer with Jamie instead of only staying for a week. If Mariah and Kelly find out that she broke the vow, she will lose their friendship forever. On the other hand, if she makes sure she doesn't break the vow she might lose her first true love. What will she do? If you like a suspenseful romantic book, then you will love ON MY OWN.
