Oh, the Pets You Can Get by Tish Rabe is an excellent book for young readers who like animals and rhyming. This book is also a good book for kids who like Dr.Seuss. This book is designed to teach young readers how to take care of pets. I think this book is for all ages. I also this book this for the kids who want to become animal experts. The pictures are beautiful. They have very bright colors. I think this will be the first thing that young readers would notice. In the pictures are pets. You might notice other characters like The Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and Thing 2, and the boy and girl. I think the pictures are the most unique element in the book. This book takes place in Gerpletz. Gerpletz is a place where the pets are treated like people. In Gerpletz, they have pets like cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits and parakeets. In the book, Thing 1 and Thing 2 give you facts about the animals. Even though Gerpletz was made up, I want to go there. Oh, the Pets You Can Get is very useful. It gives you information and tips on how to keep your pet and you healthy. If a young reader gets stuck on a word, they can look in the glossary. It also teaches about the pet individually. This book can also be used as a guide. Oh, the Pets You Can Get teaches you about pets, but it also teaches that your pet loves you more than anything else. You can learn a lot from this book.
