5 stars, Unputdownable NEW LEASH ON LIFE (GONE TO THE DOGS SERIES BOOK 6) by Kathleen Y'Barbo I don't know what it was about this book, but I was immediately drawn to it, I was unable to put it down and read it straight through. I think the subject matter was the draw. Highly recommend. Nora Hernandez owns a farm-to-table restaurant, that has been her life's dream. She recently purchased an antique shop next door to the restaurant and is patiently waiting for her boyfriend Lane Bishop, DVM to propose. A mysterious runaway dog suddenly appears, Lane is able to catch the animal and thinks it is a MWD, or Military War Dog. The dog has been highly trained, he is sure that it belongs somewhere. He checks the dog over at the Lone Star Veterinary Clinic, where he's temporarily helping out. These are sweet, inspirational, mystery, and romance books.
