can be realistic, but some parts fell flat

I had this book forever and it was high time for me to finish this book.
The plot of this book is a best friends-to-lovers troupe but this was interesting for me. If you love animals, this will be such a fun read for you! But besides that this was such a slow burn.
I honestly love how realistic this book can be. It also shares the feelings of how scary falling in love can be, and the feeling opf insecurities and how that affects the relationships. There are so much in the book that happens that makes you want to take a deep breath because it does tug the heartstrings. And for me personally, it also made me take a good look at myself.
With all those compliments, there was some parts for me that didn't land as well as the message of this book. I don't want to say anything, but the resolution was... something else.
Overall, it was an alright book. It made me curious a bit for the other characters that are the main characters in the series.
