As a mom of three young kids, "Mastering Motherhood" was encouraging. Most of my instincts went against what parenting magazines were suggesting, and I was wondering what was wrong with me! While reading this book, I found myself saying, "I thought so!" all the time. This book had a lot of common sense, practical suggestions, and good examples. Plus it had some challenges and ways that our family can improve. I felt stronger and less 'alone' as a parent after reading "Mastering Motherhood". I'm going to save it for my daughter!
