Lexi has always been there to help Peggy through her difficult times. But when Peggy begins acting argumentative and withdraws from all her friends--despite having earned the coveted role of Lady Macbeth in the school play--Lexi suspects that something is amiss.
This book is about Teen Alcoholism. I think this book is great, for two reasons. First, teen drinking problems are rarely talked about in books or t.v., yet it is a growing problem that people need to be aware of. Secondly, if you have followed Peggy's path through the Cedar River Daydreams books, you would know she has struggled with an unplanned pregnancy and the suicide of her boyfriend. I think this makes her alcoholism very realistic, and it shows that even with God helping out, all of your problems don't just go away overnight. (or in one book!) I think this is one of the very best books in the Cedar River Daydreams series, and I'd recommend it to anyone.
