I purchased this book 6/18/98 and began reading and following the guidelines along with experimenting with several of these recipes. My entire family is now eating low-fat (without their knowledge!) and loving it!! My goal is to lose a total of 51 pounds, and as of 8/25/98 I have lost 29 pounds (without exercise!-- I can only imagine if I had stuck with my exercise program!). Already I feel much better, and I would like to give most of the credit to this great book. I am anxious to purchase the follow-up book (Exceed the Feed Limit) but am unable to make this purchase at this time. If you're looking for low-fat recipes that don't taste "low-fat", then this is definitely the book for you. Like Shrimp Scampi? My favorite--try this recipe, you'll never miss the fat. I've prepared entire meals for small dinner parties using recipes out of this book with more positive comments on each dish than I've ever received before -- I never told them that they were eating a healty, low-fat meal until after the dishes were put away! This book has taught me a new way of living, it's not just a "DIEt". I want to thank Vicki for putting her recipes in print.
