A Momma duck builds a nest and lays her eggs. Then, she waits for the eggs to hatch. Soon enough, three ducklings find their way out into the world. My grandson and I have enjoyed other books in this series. However, I actually think that The Noisy Egg is his favorite. I'm not sure if he likes all the cracking and quacking or if it's the soft feel of the little ducklings on the pages. Either way, I can already tell that this book is going to get a lot of use.
