This is a beautiful book in every sense. The poetry is moving, and frequently inspiring. The drawings are mouth-hanging-open astonishing. You also get the music to one of his poems: "Let it be a Dance." Ric Masten is more than a poet: he is a modern bard: we follow the journey of his life through the words and images of this book, from frustrating, and occasionally tragic childhood, through a life of poetry and song, to the on-going final act of Ric's daily battle with teminal cancer. This is at once the most intimate book I have read, and one of the most inspiring. It is a journey well worth taking.
