This, as are the author's other works, is a standard listing and illustrated collector's aid. It covers models from the period when Matchbox began to produce die cast vehicles in consistent compatible scales such as 1:43, 1:50, etc.; the earlier models were more of a toy character and were made to fit the box. :0)
