A blessed king who strives for peace and justice; the round table where only the most gallant knights may sit; the dramatic quest for the Holy Grail; a fateful romance that destroys a dream: the epic... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This book is different than most self-teach maratial arts books I have seen in that it doesn't rely on old black and white photos of each individual technique to get the point across. It utilizes rich color photographs that fill at least half the page. For a step by step guide to performing a kata or a certain technique, it's not real useful, but for tips on techniques and some background on what the martial arts is about, it's pretty good info. I'd reccomend it not so much as a self-teach guide but to inspire others who wish to learn the martial arts to get them interested in actively training with a dojo. Kudos to Dr. Queen for hopefully pioneering a new venue for color photographs in self-teach books. PS. And I don't just say that because my photo is displayed on the back cover! Thanks again, Dr. Queen. -He who wishes to remain anonymous
