This was a good book. I've liked some of her others more, but I would recommend this one.

This book is very readable. It's refreshing how the heroine takes the old Big Misunderstanding plot and makes it a wonderful read because the two lead characters are wonderful, sensible, and actually talk to each other. Their interaction is fun to read. This book doesn't exactly make my keeper shelf, but it did gave me a few hours of reading pleasure.

I am a first time reader of this author's work. I thought the plot poignant and powerful. The characters of Lord Rockholme and Catherine are strong in honor and duty to each other and to the family values. I was riveted to my seat and could not put this book down. An absolute delight! I will eagerly be waiting for Overfield's next new novel.
