Kiki's Angel

ki Lucas has lived a life with suppressed dreams of having a child and growing old with a man who dotes on her. Somewhere along the way she settles for Kyle, a bi-sexual swinger who drags her into his promiscuous sex life in the hills above Hollywood. When Kyle commits suicide after learning he is HIV positive, Kiki continues the promiscuous sex life she has grown attached to and frequently invites men she meets online to her home for casual encounters. When she unknowingly invites the man who infected her husband over, she is saved by a man posing as the plumber. She believes he is another casual encounter she invited over and makes forceful advances. The plumber is shocked and turns her away. But this plumber named Billy Casper finds himself strangely attracted to Kiki, and returns with flowers and poems he has penned for her. Kiki grows weary, reminding him that she wanted a no strings attached physical relationship, not another significant other. Billy, though denying her physically, cannot leave her alone-even after a restraining order is put on him. It is only then that Kiki discovers that Billy is her guardian angel, sent to protect her for a special purpose. Kiki then allows herself to love Billy in return. But when Gabriel, Billy's boss in heaven, re-assigns him because he is falling in love with his client, Kiki grows suicidal thinking about being torn from another man she loves. She attempts to outwit her new guardian angel by killing herself.
