My kids' favorite book!

I found this book at a thrift store several years ago when my boys were 1 and 3. They are now 7 and 9 and this book remains their all-time favorite! It is such a great book to read out loud and the illustrations are marvelous! I have looked for it in bookstores but have never seen it anywhere. This would be a great book to buy as a gift because you could be pretty certain they didn't already have it!
You'll want to dive into this yummy book!

My kids can not get enough of this book. I love the use of alliteration and they love figuring out what it really is that Patsy is afraid of.

When my 2 1/2 year old son pulled this off the library shelf, I wasn't immediately impressed - the art work doesn't appeal to me. However, it's a cute story about imagination, and it's just a little bit scary. My son loved it immediately, and I have come to like it almost as much. After checking it out of the library at least 5 times, I finally bought him a copy. Now he is 4 years old, and it is still one of his favorites.
