This was such a emotional written book. I could feel the pain and the joy in this book.
The Lord healed me after I read "Jesus Wept'' by Bruce Marchiano.

I was very sad and my heart hurt for years because someone very close to me had become a drug addict. During this time the Lord led me to read "Jesus Wept" by Bruce Marchiano. I read about Bruce's experience of portraying Jesus in the film "The gospel according to Matthew". Through this experience, Bruce learned about Jesus' heart of compassion towards hurting people. In the book, he gives some beautiful illustrations of Jesus' compassion and how Jesus weeps with people who are weeping. This book was life changing for me, because through it the Lord has taught me to deal with my pain through prayer. Because of this, Jesus has given me so much healing. I recommend "Jesus Wept" to everyone especially those who are hurting. Also for everyone who loved Bruce's presentation of the joyful Jesus in the film "The Gospel according to Matthew", I recommend that you check out the plans for his next film "The Gospel According to John".

This is an incredible book. It can change your heart and your ideas of where God is and how much He really cares. It's hard to imagine that Jesus really cares about our heartaches and our pain, but Bruce Marchiano puts the passionate love of Jesus for us into words. Words that will overwhelm your heart with the reality of Christ's love.
