I have the original hardbound, dated 1980, and have since purchased several of the spiral-bound books as gifts. It's an easy layout to follow, and the recipes are all user-friendly. I love every dish I've tried in this book (which is most of them,) particularly the red beans and rice, the jambalayas, eggs bechamel, bread pudding, and the pork tenderloin medallions. You can't go wrong!
