Big Jim West died for nothing but Cole and Billy got what they wanted out of the deal, so did Ben and Gernie. No one had to do any time for the crime. Some of the higher-ups set him up and took him down. There wasn't a real investigation.Big Jim was Deputy Sheriff for more than two and a half years. He was also my Grandpa. This book is based on the truth, but is fiction. Too much time has gone by to get the real story. I have written it as best I can.
