This book by Mary Warnock impressed me deeply. She has an articulate and compelling writing style; no "short order" for a book on Imagination. The most important part of her book contends the Imagination is the proper subject for educating, and that it is possible to do so. I began from her argument, which I agree with, and wrote my doctoral dissertation on the visual imagination. I will forever be grateful to Mary Warnock for the ideas and thought she presented. They helpedf me to accomplish a major dream I had imagined for my life!
