I Don't Wanna Be Right

Roman Broxton has it all. Looks, money and all the women he could want. The player's player, he enjoys an easy come easy go lifestyle that leaves plenty of broken hearts in its wake. Until a dose of his own action leaves him begging for more from sexy Holiday Simmons, a former colleague and friend who has everything Roman wants from a wife and everything he has needed from his endless succession of one night stands. But Holiday might not care as much as he does - and worse still, she might leave him for his best friend.

Great Story

I loved the book because first of all I love drama and secondly the book did an excellent job at capturing the emotions of the characters. I think that Alisha Yvonne is a great writer and I believe that this book is worth reading and buying.

A lesson to be learned

I read this book about a month agao and it was a page turner. There's absolutely no way you can pick this book up with out finishing it. Please read. This is a good book with lessons to be learned by all women who plan to sllep with a man and his best friend.

I Don't Wanna Be Right, is alright with me!!!

When I first started reading this book I felt as if I was reading the previous one, "If Lovin You Is Wrong". However, as the novel progresses you get to see the story from Roman's point of view, with a few added twists. The storyline is bananas and it involves Lance, Holiday and Roman 3 co-workers who all end up in a crazy love triangle. Everything is told from Roman's point of view, so if you read the first book, a lot of things get explained, like Roman's trip and Holiday's house being burned and all that. After reading this, I really blame Holiday for half of the drama, she really should have broke it off with one of these guys, the rest I blame on Roman b/c he knew Lance wanted Holiday first, and his dogging ways bring out some psycho women! Lance is really the victim here. This book shows you there really is a thin line between love and hate! The ending was very surprising, but I was satisfied. I look forward to this author's next book, she's got a wild imagination!

I was RIGHT to read another Hot, Exciting, Page Turner by this Author

Alisha Yvonne did it again with her second novel, I Don't Wanna Be Right. The characters jumped off the page just like they did in Lovin You Is Wrong. That Roman Braxton can bring out the worse in a girl with his crazy self. But Holiday, girl, I don't know what to say about you. I was mad atcha in Lovin You Is Wrong cause you know you were wrong for juggling both Lance and Roman on a string and making them fine brothers fall for you like you did. Now look what you've done to poor Roman. The brother got some real serious love jones for you Holiday. But the brother has some serious issues too. Alisha Yvonne expertly manuevered each character and her style of writing is truly unique. I especially loved the way I was able to read I Don't Wanna Be right and reflect at the same time on Lovin You Is Wrong. You showed some serious writing skills when you did this. I Don't Wanna Be Right had me laughing, guessing, hoping, mad, and cussing (and I don't even cuss) all at the same time. It was just that great of a read. This author is gifted and talented. Come on, you're on a roll Ms. Yvonne. Keep 'em comin. I'm ready for your next book.

Another Great Read by this Author

I Don't Wanna Be Right skillfully tells the story of one Roman Broxton, a successful, debonair and suave young brother who happens to be a playa to the fullest extent. Roman is used to things going his way when it comes to the ladies, but he quickly meets his match in the sexy, successful financial analyst Holiday Simmons and chooses to trade in his playa's card for a relationship with her. When he discovers that his best friend is also drawn to Holiday like a magnet, it's time for Roman to test the strength of his game. The saying what goes around comes around soon begins to unfold in Roman's life and in his relationship with Holiday. Holiday is indeed a headstrong woman who knows that she has what it takes to make any man say - if Lovin You Is Wrong-I Don't Wanna Be Right. Alisha Yvonne captivated her readers again with her magnificent way of unfolding a story and bringing her readers along with her each step of the way. If you haven't read her first novel, Lovin You Is Wrong, you'll definitely want to run out and buy it after reading I Don't Wanna Be Right. I felt a range of emotions for the characters because of the way the author described the various situations they experienced and the methods they each used to deal with it. This book reveals the good, bad and the ugly of relationships, and the ultimate price paid when the tables turn on your own game.
