This volume of the popular How to Draw Manga series is a very detailed, step-by-step guide to depicting female bodies in the distinctive Manga style. Lessons include body types, limb positioning,... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I have accumulated a number of "figure reference" books over the years, and this one covers a lot of often overlooked aspects of the female figure both in motion and at rest. The basic stuff is covered by fairly realistic depictions [think: "Dynamic Figure Drawing" by B. Hogarth], but there are comparisons to show the artist Manga-style variations of facial features and expressions as well. There are also examples of how clothing fits or drapes the body, as in underwear, skirts, shirts, etc.
There is nudity, but tastefully depicted in a utilitarian manner.
