I rode around with a motorcycle club and wore the same dirty clothes month after month in the 1960's. I was involved in all kinds of crime from pimping to dealing drugs. I carried a crowbar and a meat cleaver, but later found a gun to be more practical. My hair was very long and I wore an earring and ring in my nose. I used all kinds of drugs including LSD, speed, psilocybin, marijuana, hashish and alcohol. I was arrested and informed by the police that I was facing 20 to life on each of two charges. I was not at the trial when the jury found me guilty and the judge sentenced me. They issued a federal warrant for flight to avoid prosecution and I spent the next 10 years as a fugitive with law enforcement in hot pursuit.
