My daughter has loved this book from the beginning

Hola Jalepeno is just plain fun! This is one of the first books that we bought for our daughter and one that she has shown interest in from the start. I think it is the fun rhyming cadence of the book that she likes. She would listen when she was 2 month old and still likes to listen at 13 months. It's nice and short so it fits well with a little one's attention span. Reading this book can be a lot of fun!
The best of the bunch

My kids have all four Amy Wilson Sanger books. This is their favorite. They love the rhythm, and it's my favorite because I actually can pronounce all the Spanish words. The illustrations are fun, and this one does include a pronunciation guide on the back for those who are unfamiliar with the Spanish words. All of her books are just so much fun, but this one tops them out for us.
Entertaining for both of my boys!!

My 6 month old ADORES this book. The smiles and giggles start on the first page. We have read this enough times that my 3 1/2 year old "reads" it to his brother. He gets some of the spanish confused(arroz is egg rolls)but that justs adds to the enjoyment. Personally this one is more entertaining than the Book of Sushi. This book is definately worth its weight in gold!!
Delightful book, vibrant pictures

The colorful pictures, and clever rhymes in this book seem to catch the attention of our 10 month old twin boys...they love it. Very very cute book, well worth the small investment.

Hola! Having consumed the author's board books on sushi and on noshes, I gobbled up this book of rhymes and cut paper collages of Mexican foods. The back cover includes a pronunciation key for about 23 of the words, from Hola and amigo to jalapeno, from salsa and taco to quesadilla (kay-sah-dee'-yah). So break out the chips and dips, and stir up some cold horcha-ta, cuz this board book in your casa, por favor, will give u enjoyment alot-ta.
