High Risk is Fun, Fast-Paced, and a Fantastic Read

It's always fun to watch an author develop and with High Risk, JLee Meyer flexes her writing chops with a great story and strong characters. If you liked Hotel Liaison, you're sure to like this second book in the series. (Speaking of which, I can see this as a TV series.) Kate Hoffman is one of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood. Dasher Pate is an A-list agent--but not Kate's. Kate is straight; Dasher definitely is not. When the two meet (again) at the first gathering of the Elysium Society at Hotel Liaison, sparks fly in more ways than one...and not always pleasantly...as the two struggle with a wild boar, outside forces, and each other. Some of your favorite characters from Hotel Liaison figure prominently in this story along with some new characters who are certain to make you either like them or hate them but rarely be indifferent. High Risk has humor, intrigue, and passion. Pick up a copy and see for yourself.
Fab Read, Old Friends, Surprises, Humor...Loved It!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading JLee Meyer's "High Risk". It was great revisiting characters from past stories, but what made this a fabulous read for me was how different it was. Though Kate and Dasher seemed to have major issues, both personally and professionally, they still found a way to find each other, and the romance that was always lurking beneath the surface. The use of and storyline for the secondary characters helped to keep the story flowing, and I even found myself laughing in a couple of sections. Before I knew it, I was at the end, and looking for more. This is definitely one for the re-read pile, and I am so looking forward to the next installment of the ladies & the Elysium society.
