Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I really enjoyed this book. I like her style of writing and the characters she creates. This had romance, a spellbinding mystery and a great twist at the end. Again I recommend this good read.

I loved this story! I stayed up way too late reading it, and it was for the second time. Isabel Darling is feisty, heroic, and determined -- the kind of heroine I adore.

No one brings Regency London to life with as fine a hand as Barbara Dawson Smith. She paints a vivid scene and then gives you a romance to sigh for. Think of this as Jane Austen with hot sex and a plot.

While all of Barbara Dawson Smith's books entertain, this one is special. I was hooked from the opening line.
