I bought this when my father in law passed away and shared it with my husband. It is a beautifully written poem that was easily understood by my children as well. I have lent the book out to a number of friends to share with thier children when a pet died or an aunt, etc. I would buy it again.

This is one of the most comforting gifts that can be given to a grieving person. Blue Lantern has taken a beautiful poem (my Mom recited it to me when I was growing up nearly 70 years ago), and illustrated it with unbelievable art work. A friend told me she would rather have this book than flowers.
