Geraldine resents all the attention her baby brother gets, until she spends some time with him. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I love children's books, even though my child is now a teen. This story is cute partly for the illustrations that accompany it of a pig family with a infant baby pig in a bassinet and a young girl child pig who is a little jealous of all the attention infant pig is getting from the relatives until she goes to the crib late at night to sternly tell the baby pig to be quiet, but then ends up enjoying interacting with her new baby brother.
A fond memory!

When I was in elementary school, I was picked to read a story to a kindergartner. This kindergartner picked out "Geraldine's Baby Brother", and so every day I read it to her. Soon I memorized it, and then kept in touch with her later. Now we still talk - and everything starts off with "Geraldine's Baby Brother, by Holly Keller"!
