Terrific travel book

This book was almost as wild as a Mel Brooks movie and just as funny. The pace is very New York - fast and furious. If you don't know anything about New York City, this would be a great start. Okay, so it might take you a minute to catch on, but that's life. It will tell you just as much about the city itself as it will the experiences of a born-and-bred New Yorker. And how many travel authors give tours of the cities they write about? You couldn't ask for more.
