a good, fun brit lit chick book!

33yr old Jo is married and has 2 kids. Her husband, Jeff, is in a hurry one morning and gives her a set of recently developed photos but didn't include the whole set. Jo is curious where the 5 missing pictures are so she goes to the photo place and gets another set done. She sees the missing photos and finds out that Jeff is having an affair!Jo enters the dating field and the reader gets interested in all her men! She must only pick one as well as maintain her interior decorating job and life being a single mom.This british chick literature that will delight you and tug at your emotions. Beautiful read - excellent writing.

Pick up this book if you are looking for an uplifting story aboutlove and divorce and a woman bouncing back from the unthinkable.Having watched my sister in law go through a similar situation--being left for another woman, the author correctly went through all the emotions and stages of being left but kept it light and airy enough to keep you laughing instead of crying.This read is similar to a Bridget Jones for the divorced.It was funny, touching and filled with enough romance to keep you rooting for the main character all the way to the end.Can't wait to read another by Jane Moore.

The reviews I read on this book were that it was a modern day fairy tale, and I couldn't agree more. While you will identify with the heroine, the lovely Jo Miles, I don't think it's realisitic to think you'll have four men panting for your attention. Two of the men could have any woman they wanted, and one of the others could easily buy any woman he wanted! But it's a fun read, I couldn't put it down, and it's a nice break from the real world. You'll find yourself rooting for Jo at the end of the book, and wishing you could find out what happens next. To me, wondering about what happens after the end, is always a mark of a well-written, entertaining read.

I read this kind of book purely to be entertained. And Fourplay did that! I found the characters enjoyable and well drawn out. As a matter of fact I think Jo's mother and my mother may be the same person. While the situation of having four men panting after you right after a divorce may not be very realistic, it was definitely fun to read about.
The best novel of this summer.

I have seven words for this book: hilarious, raunchy, heartwarming, thoughtful, indulging, sarcastic, and engaging. Once I picked up the book, I couldn't stop reading till it was 5am.Of course, I think no other straight man would be able to tolerate this book or let alone enjoy as I did. But if you are a reading woman, don't miss this jem.
