This book is so positive I love it. It helped me make small changes like changing what I buy for snacks and I followed her advice about handling food struggles and I don't fight with my son anymore. We are eating on time more often and he doesn't need to snack as much. I always resisted food advice books for kids but this one is truly practical and useful.

I've been worried about my daughter's weight and so is my doctor. He suggested I buy this book and I did. Not only did it tell me about what foods were good to serve it gave me advise about how to parent more effectively with food. I realised I did not have enough structure in our family meals and this was adding to my daughter overeating. The book provided very realistic and simple do's and don'ts. It doesn't tell you what to do but it tells you to think about what to do and it gives you the information so you can make your own decisions. I found this bvook to be very helpful and I'd recommend it to any body who has kids and worries about food, nutrition or weight.
