I'm not fast or rich or an idiot, but I love racing and this book gives an excellent inside look at the process of becoming a racer. The work on the track, in the pits, and between the races that adds up to what we call a racing season is mixed with the intimate personal life of Sam Moses. The chaos of his life becomes the backdrop for the chaos of the racing scene. An engaging story that reads as true as I am sure it is.
