Dilemma: I was taught that I memorize Romans 6 and claim it to be true to my experience - that I was dead to sin. I was encouraged to name the sin and reckon myself to be dead to it. This caused great confusion and frustration within me, for I realized I was quite alive to sin. What was wrong with me or my faith. I discovered my faith was fine but my interpretation of Romans 6 was not.
