'It's not a quilt until it's quilted' and 'How do I quilt it?' are two statements often heard among quilting enthusiasts and quiltmakers. The ENCYCLOPEDIA OF DESIGNS FOR QUILTING by Phyllis D. Miller... This description may be from another edition of this product.
My only complaint is that the photographs are small and sometimes the quilt is too dark or busy to actually show the quilting, but there are line drawings of everything. I can come up with my own quilting designs, of course, but sometimes I want something traditional and this is a good repertoire of the old standbys. I would especially recommend it to the novice quilter as it has a lot of explanation on marking designs and using them alongside the piecing or appliqué.
