Ms. Goss weaves an ENTERTAINING story with "Double Platinum"...I found myself CAUGHT UP in all the glitz, glamour and DRAMA of R & B singer, Parris Mitchell's life...and SEXY, hardworking (younger by 5 years) music producer Casper Johnson DEFINITELY has his hands full trying to earn Parris' trust and CAPTURE her heart due to his well-publicized playboy reputation...the full cast of characters is quite COLORFUL, lively and memorable...and the very subtle intimate scenes are REFRESHING...the UNEXPECTED twists and turns keep me turning the pages to see what will become of Parris' career and her budding romance with Casper...I also enjoy catching up with Rose and Lance from "Rose Are Thorns, Violets Are True"...a sensual and THRILLING fictional glimpse into celebrity lifestyles and the obstacles one might have to overcome while ATTEMPTING to pursue their dreams.

"Double Platinum" by Shelia Goss would go Platinum itself if it was an album. Shelia's fiesty main character Parris forced to put out her best album or be booted from her current label. While working with a hot, sexy, popular producer she falls hard for him and it takes her and her emotions on an up and down roller coaster of events. You'll feel her hatred, love, excitement and engery as you read Shelia's novel! Great job Shelia!!!

Double Platinum by Sheila Goss is a great read; with a mix of everyday personalities and a look inside singers' lives where we find that every thing that glitters is not gold. Parris Mitchell: A once popular songstress, who has been out of the limelight for quite awhile, is set to make a comeback. Will her old school style work well for today's crowd? Or will she need some help to boost her career? While laying low she was trying to mend a broken heart from a previous marriage that was a scam designed to leave her broke and brokenhearted. Can love find this diva? Will she be able to trust again? Dealing with trust issues and lack of self-esteem can Parris pull it together to go Double Platinum? Casper "CJ the Hitmaker" Johnson: One of the best producers in the music industry is the number one guy to go to who will make you a star. Creating and tweaking the personas of today's artist is his best job, but when Casper falls for his latest artist can he separate business from pleasure? I loved the way Sheila Goss told this story, it was very lively, animated, thrilling and the twists and unsuspecting turns left me delirious wondering what could possibly happen next. I recommend this to readers of all genres; there is something in here for everyone; mystery, romance, and down-and-dirty erotica. Kudos to Sheila Goss! Keep up the good work!
