Quiet, sensitive Penny Howard has always tried to be as much like her vivacious twin Pam as Pam wished- wearing the same clothes, and letting Pam arrange dates and choose their activities. But as the girls start their senior year at a new high school, in a new town, Penny resolves to no longer be a carbon copy of Pam.. To her surprise, she finds herself quietly cheered on by their mother, and their grandmother, and most happily for Penny, by Mike Bradley, the boy she was afraid Pam had chosen for herself.
"Double Date" is one of the best young adult books I have ever read. The whole series is fantastic. This book tells about (twins) Pam and Penny's relationship as they go through high school. Pam is outgoing and attracts the boys, while Penny is more shy and dedicated to her activities. Will Penny win the boy she truly loves? Read and find out.
Double doesn't always mean better, sometimes it means more.

"Double Date" is one of the best books I have ever read. Pam and Penny are twins adjusting to a new high school. While Pam is outgoing and popular, Penny is shy and more reserved. This author cleverly dealt with the delicate relationship between twins and portrayed them both with different characteristics and outlooks while looking identical. This is a "must read" for all ages!!!!!!
