Although labeled as volume 8, this is really the second volume of the collected strips (not the comic book). Therefore if you are wondering what is happening between Matt and Gilly, you will have to wait a little while longer. But while that plot thread may be absent, nothing else is left out. In typical Dork Tower fashion, nothing is sacred as the fanboys comment on nearly every fad under the sun. Did you know a connection could be made between low-carb diets and The Lord of the Rings? Well, it can. Wonder what an Ewok gun can do? What about the first release of the original Star Wars trilogy on DVD? Igor looks at the poker craze. The end of Buffy. Spam, comics, movies, games and everything else you would usually find in Dork Tower. Dork Tower is for anyone who really understands what it is to be a fan and the craziness that fandom entails.
