If you love dogs you will relate to a lot of what's going on in this book. I laughed, I cried..I hugged my dogs a little tighter. Great for the dog lover.

I've read nearly every June Cotner collection of blessings and prayers and, until now, found it difficult to choose a favorite. "Dog Blessings" wins the crown. Being a dog lover all of my life, "Dog Blessings" is an incredible journey. It took me back to warm puppies snuggling beside my neck and pillow; long walks around blocks where daily messages were gathered and answered at light poles, neighborhood rocks and trees; and the most difficult journeys to vets and final resting places. Tears of joy and tears of sorrow - a treasure of memories all can borrow.

Once again, June Cotner has put together another anthology of prayers, poems, and blessings for our beloved canine companions! I gave a copy to a friend to place in her store and it sold out in one day. Give this one any day of the year! It's a winner!

Some of June's selections are so poignant, I had strong emotions upon reading, however, in a completely rewarding way. I highly recommend the book for anyone who believes, like I do, that dogs have a spiritual side to them. Stephen Shultz
