I WOULD HAVE TO ADMITT THAT BOOK HIT HOME. I'M SURE A LOT OF US CAN RELATE TO AMBER'S SITUATION. IT IS EASY TO BECOME VULNERABLE AFTER BEING TREATED THE WAY HER HUSBAND WAS TREATING HER. BECAUSE SHE WAS DEPRIVED FOR SO LONG, SHE WAS OVERWHELMED BY THE ATTENTION THAT SHE WAS GETTING FROM DAVID. I UNDERSTAND THAT SHE WAS NAIVE. BUT SOMETIME WHEN CHE SPOKE TO HER I THINK SHE BELIEVED HER BUT WAS IN DENIAL BECAUSE DAVID MADE HER FEEL SO SPECIAL. CHE ON THE OTHER HAND IS THE KIND OF PERSON I REFER TO AS DISPOSABLE FRIENDS. ONCE YOU FIND OUT WHAT THEY ARE ABOUT YOU LEAVE THEM ALONE. IT DOESN'T MAKE SINCE TO KEEP PEOPLE LIKE CHEZ AROUND. UNFORTUNATELY AMBER HAD TO LEARN THE HARD WAY, WICH I BELIEVE HAPPEN TO MANY OF US. IT WAS A GREAT STORY I JUST WISH THE BOOK WAS A BIT LONGER.

I enjoyed this Book!!! Dippin' My Spoon was hilarious and intriguing. I liked reading about all the complex relationships that Amber found herself involved in. My favorite love/hate relationship was Amber and Che'. Reading about these two made me question Amber's judgement. This type of relationship is much too common in real life. The information that was revealed near the end was very surprising! However;it added to the essence of the novel. It was pleasurable reading this book from cover to cover. I cannot wait to see what Ms. Foxx comes out with next. May God continue to Bless you Ms. Foxx.

I have to say that i read this book in two days...it was just that interesting...it grabs your attention and the suspense and dreams that amber had made me go back a few pages...because the story itself was hinting at what each and every character was doing, who they really were and what they really wanted out of one another. and david omg i never experience a person with multiple personalities...but it was interesting to read about it and see the effects it has on everyone who were involved with david *S* this book is a great quick read for those who have enquiring minds *S* waiting patiently for ms nina foxx to write another one of her *interesting* books.

I was afforded the opportunity to read an advanced copy of "Dippin My Spoon". I enjoyed this book so much I read entire book in one sitting. I couldn't put it down. The character,Amber LaReaux, came to life on the pages of this book. I found myself experiencing pain, disappointment, fear and happiness with this character. The villians in this carefully woven plot were invisible until the surprising ending. I really picked the wrong one. Bravo Nina Foxx! When is your next book?
