Maggie Furey's glittering epic sweeping from Aurian through Harp of Winds and Sword of Flame, climaxes as Aurian draws near to a deadly enemy lurking in a city forgotten by time. . . Bearing the Staff... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I loved this book, just like I loved the others but I totally agree with the other reviews. There were a lot of loose ends left at the end, like what happens in Nexis with D'arvan, Maya and the Phaerie, what became of the cats on Steelclaw, and what about Shia and Khanu? I really think Maggie should give us another book or two to wrap everything up. And a movie would be great!
Wow ! What an ending!

The only complaint that I have about this book is it is the last one yet it does not feel that way. There continue to be loose ends. I can not help but want more information on what happens next. I am waiting with anticipation to find out if there will be more to come. I would assuredly purchase them.
VERY, VERY GOOD!!!!

I thought this book was, in one word, excellent! It was interesting, kept you wanting to read more, and fast-paced. Like everyone else, I think it finished much to fast, and has too many things left unknown. Such as, do Maya and D'arvan turn Nexis back to good, what their child is like, what happens with the Pharie - and I'd really like to know a littly bit more about Wolf!! But overall, I think it was a good book, maybe the second best in the series!!!!!
PLEASE WRITE ANOTHER BOOK SOON!

This was a great series! I must have read the series at least five times already.I wish she would hurry up and write another book, preferably about Chiamh. He was alluded to a lot in this installment and would be a great character to develop further. I would also like to know what happened to the Cats and to Sara. I have only one complaint about this book. When Chiamh supposedly died at the Nightrunner cave it never told the other's reaction to seeing him alive.
FIVE STARS!!!!!

This book was a wonderful, WONDERFUL way to sum up the series. I have a namesake, Maya, I chose my name for the internet to be Maya, because she is by far my favorite character, next to Forral, Aurian, D'arvan, and Anvar This book by far is superior to any book that I have read in a LONG LONG time. It would have been nice if we could have seen what happened to Maya and D'arvan and their child
