When I buy this type of book I usually don't read it, per se, but am more interested in the visual information. I look to these books to inspire me with great design and this book definitely does that. It is a series of design assignments/solutions which cover complete identity packages; print to web. It has numerous examples of clean, up to date design. This is not the super-trendy type of design (for that I recommend "Fresh Styles for Web Designers.") The only thing that bugs me is that it is set up as a split-page (horizontally) book. I really hate that.
