This is the story of multiple rescue dog Dare on her trip to the top of the dog world. Dare had to overcome a variety of issues on her way to competing in the main arena at Crufts and making her way to becoming a finalist at the Open European Championships in Heelwork to Music / Freestyle in Belgium in 2017.Follow Dare's story and gain an insight into how this sensitive and fearful dog learned to cope with life itself. Dare's story starts with a shut down dog who wanted to live her life in a cage. Follow her on her journey, where through ethical and positive training built on respect, kindness, love and an ever deepening mutual understanding and relationship, she started to live life. Dare is an exceptional dog who has achieved so much in her life already. She is far from Heather's first rescue dog but she has most certainly been the most challenging.Heather Smith has had dogs for most of her life. She has been active in a variety of dog activities from breed showing, agility, obedience, Trieball, Disc Dog and over the last thirteen years Heelwork to Music / Canine Freestyle. Heather has had seven Advanced Freestyle Dogs over the last thirteen years and six of these dogs have been Advanced in both HTM and Freestyle Dogs. Heather works as a Dog Trainer and Behaviourist where her work takes her all over the UK as well as in Europe.
