The most useless book I ever bought

This book is just plain terrible. To begin with, at 100 pages it is double sized because of the size of the font and the spaces between every line! It consists of a collection of words of praise, sentence after sentence of simple statements about what Dan did in his career. They sound like they were simply collected from other books and from magazine articles about Dan Gurney. There are NO details about any of these short statements, no photos, no elaborations on what Dan's career meant, NO quotes from any direct sources, NO new insights into the vast accomplishments and triumphs of this all time great of the American motorsport world. This book is a cheap effort to take advantage of the fact that no authorized biography of Dan has been published. As I understand it, his family simply decided not to authorize a true, comprehensive, complete biography of this great man. Other authors are stepping in and their new books are worth looking at.
