Tales that are classics

There is a wisdom to these stories, they convey humor and delicate insight, they are captivating. The Blind Doe, the Lazy Bee, The Flamencos with Hosiery, The Bald Parrot, and so on. They could be on any Essential Literature list. Classic, enduring, charming. Nature is anthropomorphized but not made sacharin.
