My first thought when I read this book was "Oh my God, actual science fiction and...its good have I fallen into some sort of alternate universe?" Now let me clarify this is a lot of Science Fantasy out there mascerading as science fiction but very little in the way of actual science fiction. If you can find this get prepared for a real treat it is EXCELLENT. I have to look for some more by this author.
