This text presents all the information a new CorelDRAW user needs to create professional graphics. It covers simple graphics creation, working with text, publishing to a variety of media, and using the other Corel applications included with CorelDRAW. The book also looks at the updated features of the programme and helps experienced users work with the newest tools.
This is a really good intro to CorelDRAW 9, as long as you're not after detail or advanced functionality. Want to know how to draw a circle, manipulate text and colours with no previous experience? This is the book for you. Want to know more about Pantone colours? Forget it.I bought it to get a quick start in CorelDRAW before moving onto advanced stuff, and it's a great book for that. A couple of minor points - I hate the stupid jokes. And there are no colour pages (which would be great in a graphics book - even if it is "for Dummies"). On the whole, though, highly recommended.
