I devoured this book

I could not put this book down, devoured the first 280 pages in a single day. The structure bounces back and forth between two different cultures chapter to chapter as they come closer and closer to collision. I found it to be very compelling, with impressive imagination and insight into what non human intelligence might look like.
This book surprised me.

A very cool evolutionary sci-fi novel. I enjoyed it thoroughly. The parallel stories really kept me interested.
