Better than just a list of interview questions, this book shows you how to answer using success stories from your past. Even an applicant with limited experience can use this "story" format to answer questions and help the interviewer get to know him or her in the most positive light. In my interview I was able to SHOW that I had leadership/decision-making/problem solving skills by drawing from past experiences and showing the interviewer how I had handled each challenge. The book requires some mental effort and preparation, but it will be time well spent.I have recommended this book to a friend seeking a flight attendant job as well. A "must read" for the prospective airline pilot. You'll really know what to expect in the interview. Without this book, you will likely be caught off guard by some of the questions and interview procedures. Also check out the CD-rom that is availble as a "partner" to this book.

After attending several pilot interviews and not being offered a position a friend suggested I read Checklist for Success. This book gave me great insight into what I was doing wrong! This book helped me learn to talk about myself in a very specific way which allowed the interviewer to learn about me. I recommend this book to anyone going to any type of pilot interview.
