a great book for caroline and charlotte devotees!

i first read this book in 1991 and it has remained a favorite for all these years. the author has done a brilliant job bringing to life caroline and charlotte for the present world...the book starts with the marriage of charlotte's parents ( a couple vastly not suited for eachother)and continues through the lives of caroline and charlotte-leading up to charlotte's tragic death in 1817 and caroline's death in 1821. the author takes great care explaining the complicated relationships these three people had. this book also has some very nice black and white illustrations. i can't say enough about this book. i have yet to find a better one on this subject!
