In the forgotten western lands that devour the sun, the slumbering dark is threatening to awaken and eclipse the unknowing realm. The last to suspect such events is young Sebastian, a farmer of the peaceful land of Baile. All he knows of great adventures, such as those of the legendary order of the Aezla, comes from tales and tomes. Yet, when a strange storm emerges from the wicked west, it brings with it a strange visitor, and Sebastian is swept up in the torrent on the greatest adventure of his young life.
